Why ISPE
ISPE has been a driving force in pharmaceutical manufacturing since its founding in 1980. Today, its reach extends to 120 countries, connecting engineers, scientists, and manufacturing leaders around a shared goal - leading scientific, technical, and regulatory advancement throughout the entire pharmaceutical lifecycle.
That mission resonates with the work we do every day. Pharmaceutical manufacturing is becoming more complex, more regulated, and more pressured to move faster. Organizations like ISPE give the industry a common language and a shared set of standards to meet that challenge together. For a modeling and simulation (M&S) consultancy working across biopharma, fine chemicals, and food and beverage manufacturing, ISPE's global network is also a meaningful reflection of the reach our clients already operate in.
Where Procegence Fits In
At Procegence, we see a future where companies bring products and technologies to market far more quickly than they do today, using digital tools like modeling and simulation. Our mission is to help teams integrate M&S best practices into their daily work - reducing costs and achieving faster time-to-market, especially as everyone across the industry is being asked to do more with less.
M&S is still underused across much of pharmaceutical manufacturing, not because the tools aren't ready, but because adoption takes trust, education, and consistent advocacy. That's exactly where a partnership with ISPE adds value. It gives us a platform to engage directly with the process development, quality, and manufacturing professionals who stand to benefit most from these tools, and a community where we can contribute.
Simulation-as-a-Service is one example of how we're trying to lower the barrier to entry. Instead of requiring companies to build internal modeling capability from scratch, it gives teams access to computational fluid dynamics, mechanistic and hybrid modeling, and digital twin expertise on demand - scaled to the size and stage of the problem at hand.
